Off-Leash Dog Friendly Beaches
45 Lakeshore Drive East
Off leash within fenced area
802 Three Mile Road
The South Beach area (boating beach only) is the off-leash swimming area for dogs. Pets are not allowed on the swimming beach.
4851 Lakeside Road, Three kilometers south of the marina
Fully-fenced off-leash beach area
Follow highway 97 towards Summerland.
To the east of the public beach, there is a long pebbly stretch of beach.
Off-Leash Dog Areas
2088 Dartmouth Road
Located in the old SPCA Dog Run beside the City Public Works Yards on Dartmouth Road. This is a fully-fenced, off-leash area that offers a large dog area as well as a fully-fenced small dog area.
1900 Penticton Avenue
This fully-fenced area is behind the Water Treatment Plant and can be accessed via the pathway along Penticton creek. Parking is available 6:00am -5:30pm daily at the small lot outside of the Water Treatment Plant. Follow the pathway along the creek to the off-leash area. In consideration of others please keep dogs on-leash until you are inside the designated off-leash area.
100 Industrial Avenue West
This fully-fenced area is at the west end of Industrial Avenue along Ellis Creek Park, located beside Ellis Creek at Industrial Place.
