| About Will Enns Unlike many artists, Will Enns was not born with a pencil clutched in each of his extremities. In fact, even he questioned his ability until 2001, when he began drawing seriously, and his unorthodox view of the world came to light. Before taking up acrylics, Will worked in watercolors. This proved an onerous medium for illustration, but with his discovery of digital media, Will was able to reduce time spent illustrating. Since then, he has done all his illustrative work digitally. Will attributes the 3-dimensionality of his work to an interest in formal portraiture; "...it is perhaps the most demanding of the painterly disciplines. Once learned, portrait skills serve well with all subject matter." Will lives and works in Summerland, BC. His Jazz Art has been prominently featured in Okanagan Life Magazine, and he currently creates cover art for Canadian Technician Magazine of Ontario. Aside from magazine illustration, Will Creates theme art. His current theme project is Mexico, where viewers can learn of such esoteric views as "All Women are Beautiful, and All Men are Lizards." Other popular themes include his Jazz art and Wine art collections. To see more of Will's work, visit www.willenns.com, or contact him via Email at willenns@shaw.ca. Will is self-taught. |
